In New Mexico during the next two months we will be seeing a lot events taking place. Next week the burning of Zozobra will take place at our state capital. New Mexicans will spend their hard earned cash to attend the amazing NM State Fair next week as well. Tourist will flock to Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta in October. All of these events will bring many people to the state. With tourist flocking to this area money will be spent like crazy. This money circulates right into New Mexicans wallet. Think about it, these people will need a place to stay, places to eat, will shop for souvenirs, and pay for entertainment. Therefore, all these New Mexican companies will make money and pay their workers. Workers will then spend the money around the area as well, creating a huge monetary cycle. However, some New Mexicans think it is just a thorn in the side. They hate having to deal with traffic, waiting in lines at restaurants, and having to cater to the tourist. My question to you is, do you think that having these events in New Mexico is really helping us or is it a pain for us to deal with? Please respond in a short paragraph.
